Standalone Abstract Generator Environment Setup
Abstract Generator reads a file named.abstractrc during the startup process. If you use the command line options to launch Abstract Generator, the tool first loads the.abstractrc file and then the replay file that has been specified using the -replay argument.
When the tool starts, it searches for the.abstractrc file at the following locations in the order specified:
You can modify the.abstractrc file to customize the tool for a group of users. You can also specify your custom standard cell SKILL code in the.abstractrc file so that Abstract Generator reads it every time you launch the tool. In addition, the .abstractrc file can enable you to run the required TCL or SKILL replay file when you launch the tool.
Do not set up library options in the.abstractrc file because they are overwritten when you open a library.
