GDSII to LEF

In this flow, Abstract Generator imports GDSII data and generates the abstract LEF 5.x. This LEF abstract is then used to create layouts, which can be imported directly into the Virtuoso environment.

The abstract generation step is usually performed by a library or an IP developer and is independent of any floorplanning.
