Dracula Graphical User Interface Known Problems and Solutions

This Known Problems and Solutions document describes important Cadence Change Requests (CCRs) for the Dracula^® graphical user interface tool and tells you how to solve or work around these problems.

Important: Only known problems and solutions available at release time are available in this document. Please contact your Cadence representative for the most recent KP&S issues.

CCRs in Previous Releases of Dracula Interactive

Dracula Interactive to be available on Open Access

Description: The Short Locator function is not accessible in the OpenAccess database.

Solution: Since Short Locator is not implemented yet on OpenAccess, it can be accessed only in DFII.

draculaInteractive core dump if no DRC error layer is selected

Description: This core dump happens after you have entered the Dracula path through your DRC Setup, and have then chosen Select Error Files... from the DRC menu, clicked on None on the Select DRC Error Files window, and clicked OK.

Solution: To prevent core dump from happening, after you have selected None on the Select DRC Error Files window, you should not click either OK or Apply.
