To set up licensing on Windows, you need to:
- Install the Cadence License Server Configuration utility on the machine that you intend to use as the license server.
- Install the Cadence License Client Configuration utility on the machines that need to access Cadence products licenses.
- Know the locaton of the license file that you have received from Cadence.
These utilities are installed as part of your product installation. You can also also install these utilities directly by downloading the Lic+Config_Utils (LCU ) release from downloads.cadence.com.
