Connectivity Access Functions

A net contains one or more signals. A signal can be in more than one net. A net named A<0:1> contains two signals, A<0> and A<1>, while a net named A<1*2> contains two references to one signal, A<1>. The syntax for net names is described in more detail earlier in this chapter.

This section contains a group of database functions for accessing the connectivity information between nets, signals, and terminals.
