Pcell Abutment Support Functions
This topic provides a list of Cadence® SKILL functions that describe how to set, unset, and retrieve the values of two abutment properties, abutment name and abutment reference name, supported in figures (pcells). The only kinds of figures that these functions work with are shapes, vias, and instances.
The figures owned by a pin can be identified with two names, a pinFigName and an abutment name. An abutment name is a unique value that you assign to a figure in a subMaster design. You can search for a specific figure based on the assigned abutment name.
In addition, you can specify a name for the reference shape of a figure. This name is called an abutment reference name. The abutment reference name need not be unique because multiple shapes can refer to the same reference shape.
Only the functions listed here are supported for public use. All other functions, regardless of their name or prefix, and undocumented aspects of the functions described below, are private and are subject to change at any time.
