Array Chopping
You can chop an array of instances (mosaic) or a group array. When you define the chop area for an array, none of the points of the chop area, which is vertices of the rectangle and polygon and end points of a line, should be contained within the array. The vertices or end points should be either outside the array or on the boundary of the array. This is explained in the following figures.

In the following chop areas, not all the points are outside the array. Therefore, these arrays of instances will remain unchanged even if you don’t select the option to chop arrays.
