Saving and Restoring a View
You can save a zoomed or panned image shown in a layout window to a file that lasts for the current session. You can restore the view when you need it during the session. You can cycle through the last three views in a session. Views are saved only for the current session and are deleted when you exit Virtuoso.
Saving a View
To temporarily save a zoomed or panned image:

Choose View – Save/Restore – Save View.
The Save View form appears. - Type the name in the Name field that you want to assign to your current view.

Click OK.
The current view is saved.
Restoring a View

Choose View – Save/Restore – Restore View.
The Restore View form appears. - Select the name of the view you want to restore.

Click OK.
The image in the window is replaced by the view you saved.
Returning to a View
To return to the previous image view:
