To restart the license server, follow the same steps as in Configuring the License Server. You can also restart the license server by using the lmtools utility. For more information on restarting the License Server using the lmtools utility, refer to FlexNet End User Guide.
Make sure you restart your license server during lean time. Cadence applications that have already consumed a license will continue to work during the restart. However, new applications that are run when the license server is restarted will fail.
