How do I register a supply net?

1. To add the supply nets, clickin the Registered Supply Nets table on the Supply Nets tab of the Power Manager Setup form. It opens the Add Supply Nets form.
2. Select a top-level supply net by applying Filter.

3. Select a value for Net Type.

4. Specify the voltage value of the selected supply nets. You can also define space-separated multiple voltages for a top-level net.

For a hierarchical design the voltage values specified from the top-level nets are propagated to the levels below in the following ways:

• If, the cells used in the design do not have their associated Liberty, the voltage propagation for them happens hierarchically as per the top-level voltage values.

• If, the cells used in the design have their associated Liberty/1801 cell bindings, the voltage map (from Liberty) or power states (from 1801) is expected to match the voltage levels specified for top level supplies. If there is a mismatch, CLP would report it.
