Create P&R Boundary Form
Use the Create P&R Boundary form to create a PR boundary in the specified window.

Create Method
|
Chooses which method is used to create the PR boundary object.
Environment variable: createBoundaryMethod

From Selected Set: Creates the PR boundary using the rectangular bounding box of the selected set of objects.

Rectangle: Creates the PR boundary using two points.

Polygon: Creates the PR boundary using multiple points.

Apply
|
Creates the PR boundary using the selected objects.

|
Snap Mode
|
Selects the snap mode to be used as you enter points, when Polygon create method is selected. Valid snap modes are anyAngle, diagonal, orthogonal, L90XFirst, and L90YFirst.

Create as ROD Object
|
Creates the boundary as a ROD object.

Name: Lets you assign a name to the new boundary in the current layout cellview. The name must be unique in the cellview. If you do not edit this field, the system assigns a unique name consisting of the prefix
boundary. The prefix is followed by a number. For example, the first ROD boundary would be named boundary0, the second, boundary1, and so on.

Define Halo
|
Opens the Halo Editor form where you can define a halo blockage for the PR boundary.
