Create Polygon Form
Use the Create Polygon form to create a polygon in the specified window.

Snap Mode
|
Specifies how the pointer snaps when you create a polygon.

anyAngle: Creates lines at any angle.

diagonal: Creates lines parallel to the X or Y axis or at a 45-degree angle to the axes.

orthogonal: Creates lines parallel to the X or Y axis.

L90XFirst: Creates orthogonal two-segment lines and creates the first line in the X direction.

L90YFirst: Creates orthogonal two-segment lines and creates the first line in the Y direction.

Add an arc segment
|
Lets you create an arc in the polygon.
(Virtuoso RF Option) If the Add an arc segment option is selected, the curved polygon and the arc segment are created using the LPP selected in the palette.

Net Name
|
Assigns the polygon to a specific net.

Probe Nets
|
Highlights nets while you are creating interconnect.

ROD
|

Create as ROD object: Creates the polygon as a ROD object.

Name: Assigns a unique name to the new polygon in the current cellview if the Create as ROD Object check box is selected. This unique name consists of the prefix polygon followed by an integer. For example, the first ROD polygon is named polygon0, the second polygon1, and so on. You can edit the default name, if required, but ensure that the new name is unique in the cellview.
