Height

Sets the height of the name in user units, usually microns.

Font

Sets the text style of the name.

Text Options

Displays the label for the pin only if the Pin Names option in the Display Options form is enabled.

• Drafting: Prevents the label from being rotated more than 90 degrees.
• Overbar: Determines how text strings containing underscore characters are displayed.
• Create As Label: Determines whether the pin is created as a label or text display. If this option is selected, a label is created, else a text display is created.

Environment variable: pinTextCreateAsLabel

Layer Name

Sets the layer for the pin name.

• Same as Pin: Puts the pin name on the same layer as the pin.

Environment variable: pinTextSameLayer

Layer Purpose

Puts the pin name on the same layer as the pin being created.

• Same as Pin: Puts the pin name on the same layer as the pin.

Environment variable: pinTextSamePurpose

Justification

Sets the location of the name origin.

Orientation

Sets the orientation of the pin name.
