Cross-Fabric Checks Run
The Cross-Fabric Check command lets you compare connectivity across fabrics and display results in a system check report. Instead of running connectivity checks for each die in a design, you can run the Cross-Fabric Check command at the board level. The command extracts connectivity information and runs the required connectivity checks hierarchically in the following sequence:
- Connectivity information is extracted from the board layout and connectivity checks are run to ensure that the connections are valid.
- Check Against Source (CAS) checks are run on the board layout.
- Layout vs Abstract (LVA) checks are run on all package footprints.
- Connectivity information is extracted for each package layout and connectivity checks are run to ensure that the connections are valid.
- CAS checks are run on package layouts.
- LVA checks are run on all die footprints.
- Connectivity information is extracted for IC layouts and connectivity checks are run to ensure that the connections are valid.
- CAS checks (only top-level) are run on IC layouts.
Violations are displayed in a system check report and in the Annotation Browser.
