Removing a Device from a Chain

To remove a device from a chain:

1. In the layout canvas, select the device you want to remove from a chain.
   The chainExtendSelection environment variable must be set to nil to let you select an individual device in a chain.
2. Choose Edit – Move.
3. Click the layout canvas where you want to place the selected device.
