Automatic Snapping of FinFET Devices during Layout Generation

If you are generating a layout for a design that uses FinFET devices, Layout XL correctly snaps these devices to the fin grid defined for the design.

• If you use the Generate Selected From Source command in the As In Schematic mode, the generated devices are automatically snapped to the fin grid.
• If you move a chain of abutted devices in the layout canvas, all the devices in the chain are snapped together, that is, the snapping does not break existing chains.
