Generation of RF TLine Chains (Virtuoso MultiTech Framework)

If you are using the Virtuoso RF Solution and have the Virtuoso RF Option license checked out, you can use the following Layout XL commands to chain TLine instances:

• Generate All From Source
• Update Components And Nets
• Generate Selected From Source
• Generate Chained Devices

Layout XL enables you to create two-dimensional TLine chains, unlike the usual MOS chains that are one-dimensional. The TLine chains are generated using the same orientation as in the schematic. The abutment of TLine pinFigs is supported with the center accessDir.

You can chain the TLine instances using the Generate Chained Devices form. However, top-level TLine pins cannot be abutted.

The following interactive chaining command options are not supported for TLine devices:

• Preserve Existing Chains
• Use Device Order
• Interdigitate Chains
• Mirror
• Permute Pins
• Align PMOS
• Align NMOS
