Generate

Specifies how instances are backannotated to the schematic.

• individually: Each instance is backannotated individually. This is the default.
• mfactored: Instances are backannotated as mfactored devices in the schematic.
• iterated: Instances are backannotated the same way as for mfactored, but some iterated notation is used. For example, (<0:2>). Specify this value when the instance you want to backannotate is not a Pcell and when no mfactored parameter is defined.

Row, Columns

Specifies the number of rows and columns of dummy instances. These values are adjusted automatically.

X, Y Spacing

Specifies the horizontal spacing. These values are adjusted automatically.

Updates the layout of instances in a grid to be as close to a square aspect ratio as possible

Switches between column-priority packing and row-priority packing for the grid of instances being placed down.

The following columns in the table provide information about all dummies that are not yet backannotated to the schematic. You can select and deselect instances in this table and edit the library, cell, and view information.

Name

Name of the instance.

Schematic Lib

Name of the schematic library.

Schematic Cell

Name of the schematic cell.

Schematic View

Name of the schematic view.

Type

Specifies the figure type. Valid values are instances or pin.

Update Master

Opens the Select Master form that lets you specify the master Library, Cell, and View of the back annotated schematic device.

Rotates the instance through 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Rotates the instance through 90 degrees clockwise.

Mirrors the instance about its y axis.

Mirrors the instance about its x axis.

Library

Specifies the library for the master cellview to be used.

Cell

Specifies the cell name for the master cellview to be used.

View

Specifies the view for the master cellview to be used.
