Tracks for Wide Wire Designs
If you route wide and narrow wires, you can get better on-grid routing density by doubling the number of tracks, as shown in the following figure.

For designs with a combination of wide wires and narrow wires, follow these guidelines:
- The design on the left shows the closest that wide wires can be placed using the normal, expanded line-to-via routing pitches.
- The design on the right shows better routing density, if you double the number of tracks.
