Pad Shapes and Labels

In hierarchical designs, a pad shape and its corresponding pad label might not be at the same hierarchical level.

The Pad Opening Info command helps you find pad shapes at lower levels of your hierarchical cellview, generate reports and labels for the pad shapes that are found, and promote the generated labels to the top level of the cellview.

The Pad Opening Info command supports all shapes, except labels and text displays.

You can generate a standard report or a customized report for information about the pad shapes in a hierarchical cellview.
