Stretching a Via

You can stretch partially selected vias in X or Y direction. The stretch functionality is not supported for a cdsFixedVia via.

To stretch a via:

1. In the layout window, choose Edit – Stretch or click the Stretch icon on the Edit toolbar.
   Alternatively, right-click any free space on the design canvas to display the Layout shortcut menu and select Stretch.
2. Press F3 to open the Stretch form.
3. Select Via Partial Selection.
   Alternatively, you can select this option in the Selection Options form.
4. On the canvas, select the corner of the via that you want to stretch.
5. Move the pointer over the edge until you see the stretch pointer.
6. Click and drag the pointer to stretch the via. You can stretch the via in X or Y direction.
7. Release the mouse button.
