Object Snapping in singleTrackCenter Snapping Mode
You can specify the snapping mode for layers as multiTrackCenter or singleTrackCenter. Snapping modes are specified in the snappingMode argument of
In multiTrackCenter, a shape can be centered on any number of tracks. When the singleTrackCenter mode is used for a layer, a shape is snapped only if it can be centered on a single track while meeting the enclosure rule on both sides. This means that a shape would snap only if its dimension is twice the trackEnclosure value. In this case, the combined snapping layer bounding box is not considered. If the device contains any shape meeting the dimension rule, the shape is snapped even if the combined layer bounding box does not meet the enclosure on both sides. The singleTrackCenter snapping is supported for both local and global grids.
