Net Interconnect

Deletes any selected paths, instances that are vias, and all non-pin shapes on the net. Pins, component connections (instTerms), and the net is not deleted.

Selected

Deletes any selected objects.

• Segment of a Path: Deletes any selected objects in partial select mode only, and can be used to delete sections of a path while retaining path connectivity.

Preserve Non-Physical-Only Instances

Deletes the physical-only instances (exist only in the block domain) among the instances selected. Instances and parents of instances that exist in both block and module domains are not deleted. A message appears in the CIW to convey that the non-physical-only instance have not been deleted. For more information about creating physical-only instances, see the Create Instance Form.

Chain Mode

Enables you to delete device chains.

• All: Deletes all instances in a chain.
• Selected: Deletes only selected instances.
• Selected Plus Left: Deletes the instance selected and all instances to the left of the selected instance in the chain.
• Selected Plus Right: Deletes the instance selected and all instances to the right of the selected instance in the chain.
