Make Readonly/Editable Form
Use the Make Readonly/Editable form to switch to the edit mode for updating the hierarchy.It lists master cellviews of all the instances existing in the current cellview.
The left pane of the form displays a tree-like list of the master cellviews whose instances exist in the current cellview. It displays the library/cell/view information of these master cellviews. The last column in the pane displays the mode of the listed master cellviews.

Changes the mode of the selected master cellview to read-only.

Changes the mode of the selected master cellview to editable.

Filter section
|
Specifies a criteria for listing only specific master cellviews in the left pane.

Use: Searches for master cellviews of all or of the instances selected in the cellview.

masters: Displays in the left pane master cellviews of all the instances in the cellview.

masters in the selected set: Displays in the left pane master cellviews of only the instances selected in the cellview.

Name: Specifies a name pattern to use while searching for the master cellviews.

condition/logic cyclic field == or !=: Lets you search for character strings or numerals that are an exact match (==) or are not a match (!=); to get matches that contain a string, a leading and/or trailing asterisk must be used.

value field: Sets the value of the name of the master cellview to use in the search.

Type: Specifies the type of the master cellview to use in the search.

condition/logic cyclic field == or !=: Lets you search for character strings or numerals that are an exact match (==) or are not a match (!=); to get matches that contain a string, a leading and/or trailing asterisk must be used.

cyclic field: Lets you search for specific type of master cellview, such as a blockRing or a softMacro. You can also select to search based on all types of master cellviews or based on none of the types.

Filter: Searches for master cellviews matching the criteria specified in the Filter section and displays the result in the left pane.
