Make Cell Form
Use the Make Cell form to create a cell from the selected objects in the specified window.

Lets you choose the type of cell you are going to create. The valid choices are none (which lets you choose an unspecified object), block, blockRing, cover, coverBump, pad, padSpacer, core, coreSpacer, coreAntenna, corner, softMacro, via, blockBlackBox, padAreaIO. Replaces the selected objects in the cellview with an instance of the new cell. |

|
Origin drop-down list lets you select the origin point. You can select from LowerLeft, LowerRight, UpperLeft, UpperRight, or Custom. When you select Custom, the X, Y and Set by cursor fields are enabled. |

Sets an X and Y origin point for the new cell when you enter the points in the X, Y fields. |
|
|
Sets an X and Y origin point for the new cell when you enter a new point in the cellview with the pointer. |

|
Generates a rectangular or a polygonal place and route boundary for the made cell.

Connects or places the selected objects in or with a cluster or instance/cluster boundary. The cellview cannot already contain a cluster or instance/cluster boundary with the same name as the one you have selected. The association between the cluster and the instances/cluster boundary is retained. |

Specifies a read-only field that displays what type of cluster you have selected in the Cluster Name cyclic Field inclusive, exclusive, or suggested. |
