Analyze Commands

The Virtuoso Space-based Router Analyze commands let you perform critical area analysis to determine the probability of faults and the expected yield based on the technology you are using. The critical area is the area where the center of a particle must land to cause an open or a short. The size and shape of the critical area are dependent on the size and geometry of the particle and the wire width and spacing on the die. The larger the critical area, the greater the likelihood that a defect would result in a faulty chip.

The only analysis command that is available is report_yield.
