Make Cell – Pins Created
Pins are created for nets that are external to the made cell, if the nets to do not already have a pin created.
Set makeCellCreatePins to false, if you do not want pins to be created for the made cell instance.
The transparent made cell introduces an additional level of hierarchy that does not exist in the schematic.
Cadence recommends that you keep the logical and the physical hierarchies synchronized, wherever possible. But, for design situations where an additional level of hierarchy is required, Layout XL can help you by keeping the additional, introduced hierarchy XL-compliant.
If an additional hierarchy already exists in the design and you want to flatten it, you can use the Flatten command.
