Cellviews Copied Across Libraries

You can use one of the following ways to copy a layout cellview from a source to a target library:

• Library Manager
• dbCopyCellView SKILL API
• Copy command to interactively copy portions of a source layout cellview to a target layout cellview

During the copy operation, the following components of the source and target technology libraries are compared:

• dbuPerUU and userUnits
• Layer names and layer numbers
• Purpose names and numbers
• Name, types, layer names and numbers of all viaDefs
• Name, types, width, and height of all siteDefs
• Names of array siteDefs
