Markers Generated by Connectivity Extractor
Markers are flashing boxes in the layout canvas that indicate electrical shorts or invalid overlaps. In Layout XL, markers are generated by the connectivity extractor, and these markers are displayed in the Connectivity tab of the Annotation Browser Assistant assistant.
The Annotation Browser is replete with features to allow quick access and simple control of the displayed markers. You can use the:
- Annotation Browser Toolbar to filter and manage the violation markers displayed in the browser pane, and to define how the markers are displayed in the design window.
- Annotation Browser Paneto display the markers corresponding to each application category supported by a tab. A marker selected in the browser pane is automatically highlighted in the layout canvas, and vice versa.
- Annotation Browser Shortcut Menus to list the options to enable marker viewing and sorting.
- Annotation Browser Options Form to control the marker highlighting.
- Incomplete Net Filter Form to control the display of incomplete net markers for the specified nets.
