Concurrent Layout Toolbar in Designer Mode
The following table lists the functions of the different options on the Concurrent Layout assistant toolbar in designer mode:

Submits the updated design partition view for merge. If you have submitted a design for merge, then you can use this command to recall the design and change the design status to Editing. |

Lets you recall a design submitted for merge. This changes the status of the design to Not Submitted. |

Clears all the edits in the design partition view. The status changes to either Created or Reset (if this design partition view was merged before). If the design partition status is Error, see the tooltips for the reason and you could fix it by resetting. |

Displays the Layout Configuration Form form that lets you load or unload layout configurations in design partition views. |
||
|
Displays the View History Form form that lets you check information about important changes made to the top design. |
||
|
Displays the Save As Full Partition View Form form that lets you save the full design partition view of the specified cellview. |
||
|
Compares the design before and after you update it by placing them side-by-side. |
||
|
Reloads design partition views or the top design from the disk. |
||
|
Enables incremental Edit In Place (EIP) and displays the Hierarchical Edit Setup Form that lets you perform incremental EIP when you Descend Edit or Edit In Place into a hierarchical subcell and meets the required conditions. Edit In Place is performed in regular mode when you disable incremental EIP. After you complete hierarchical edit setup for a subcell, you will EIP this hierarchical subcell in incremental mode regardless the state of this button. |
